The Barbers at Thom Sweeney
Located at the heart of the most exciting new destination in London, our new home at the Thom Sweeney Townhouse reflects our ethos: timeless style. However you are as you step into our shop, rest assured you will leave sharper, calmer and without a hair out of place.
Founded by Brent Pankhurst and Joann Gowland, Pankhurst London is a haven of masculinity just off Savile Row. Our bespoke barbers’ chairs, hand upholstered by Bentley’s leather craftsmen, are the perfect place to sit back for a classic trim or an ultra-smooth shave.
After starting his career under Vidal Sassoon, Brent Pankhurst has been one of Britain’s leading barbers and style advisors for over quarter of a century. He has created iconic looks for classic British films such as Layer Cake and Snatch, working with actors such as Daniel Craig and styling hair for album covers, videos and fashion shoots. Joann Gowland has worked with Brent for many years and brings her first class barbering skills to the Thom Sweeney Townhouse. In Brent's own words, "Joann is the best barber I've ever worked with."
A favourite of Esquire magazine, who say we “cut hair impeccably”, and heralded by GQ, who call us “master barbers”, we have partnered with the exquisite tailors at Thom Sweeney to fulfil our ambition:
to take care of your look, from head to toe.
