1. What first brought you to Pankhurst, and what made you return?

“It must have been about 25 years ago. I heard about this cool new barber Brent who had moved into the Dunhill store on Jermyn Street, who made everyone look like Steve McQueen. I booked immediately. It didn’t work — but I’ve never been anywhere else since.”

“It’s 30 minutes of peace and modern refinement in the centre of London, which I cannot find anywhere else.”

“The laughter. You can walk in feeling exhausted and fed up and walk out looking and feeling ready for the world again.”

“The Moulding Cream. It’s so good, my nephews and sons steal it off me. And my wife loves the smell. Everyone’s a winner, baby.”
